Speaker: Abe Cho, Senior Pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church East Side
Abe grew up in Cheshire, Connecticut, a small New England town just north of New Haven. After attending the University of Connecticut, he went on to pursue an M.Div. and a Th.M. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary near Boston. He was previously the youth pastor at First Korean Presbyterian in Hartford, CT and the director of university ministries at Citylife Presbyterian in Boston. He has been a pastor at Redeemer since 2007 serving in a variety of capacities over the years. He recently completed his Doctor of Ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary with particular interests in urban ministry, leadership development, public theology and issues of race and justice. He and his wife, Jordyn, have four young children, Lydia, Ezra, Micah and Judah.
Logistics:
If it is your first time coming to the Retreat, registration cost is per person, e.g. per adult, and additional per child). The price includes two nights, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
There are three types of room arrangements available:
1) A double room with two beds for two adults (one couple or two individuals) - Regular price: $190 per adult.
2) A double room with two beds to be shared by four adults (could be two couples or four friends) - Regular price: $170 per adult.
3) Four lodge rooms with 4 bunk beds (8 people) and one lodge room with 9 bunk beds (18 people) - Regular price: $160 per adult.
