Since 2010, Grace Meridian Hill's Neighborhood Easter Party in Girard St. Park has been a free community event that has grown to over 300 annual attendees - this year it will be on April 20th from 11 am-2pm on the Saturday before Easter. We provide free food, an Easter Egg hunt for various age groups, and other fun family activities and games such as face painting, a basketball tournament, a photo booth, etc. This community event is a great way to be a blessing to the local community and to build relationships with neighbors. It is also a wonderful opportunity for members of our church – especially those of you who are newer to GMH – to make new friends to get connected to the neighborhood.
You are an integral part of helping to put this together. And we are calling everyone to be involved in one way or another. We will need volunteers who would be interested in playing games, face-painting, serving food, decorating, taking photos, and more. Sign up now to help out!
