Summer Bible Club will be August 13-16 from 6-7:30pm at the Girard St. Rec Center. Please join us in praying for a blessed time of connecting with kids from our congregation and neighborhood and having fun learning the Gospel. This year's theme is "Jesus, The Kingdom Builder: Strong Families, Churches & Communities" (Hebrews 11:10).

Are you skilled with planning/organizing? Singing or playing an instrument? Loving on kids? Teaching? Setting up fun games? Being supportive in flexible ways? We will be announcing volunteer needs and orientation meetings for July so start thinking and praying about how YOUR various gifts may help build up SBC. Please contact Deacon Marcus Cross ( or Nana Dagadu (

Announcing MH Club: For the four Sundays following Summer Bible Club (8/19, 8/26, 9/2, and 9/9), we will be piloting a special time of mentoring and fellowship targeted at kids from our catchment neighborhoods as well as our older covenant kids.  We will meet at 10:15 in the fellowship hall for breakfast, age appropriate worship, and a small time of sermon prep – discussing the context for the reading for that Sunday, and of course the Cross! Everyone will be back upstairs by the time adult worship is complete to listen to the sermon. If you have a heart for building relationship and sharing the Gospel with Children, this opportunity is for you!  Email for more information.
